Last day! We are heading home! I had a blast in Tacoma/ Seattle and I loved the mountains, but I miss Iowa. I hear it's snowing and all we get here is rain. Looking forward to seeing snow and everyone back home...

Went to the Museum of Glass. Saw people blow glass. It rained a lot today... And it's still raining as I post this. We went to the beach looking for shells. Plus we went shopping. Not much to do when it rains. The people that are housing us are great. They are very friendly, and interested in what we do.

We went to Hurricane Ridge. The view was amazing, almost dream like. Afterwards we went to a rainforest... Reminded me a lot of scenes from movies; dark and spooky. We wanted to make it to Ruby Beach before sundown, but that didn't happen. It was just a long day of driving.

Went to Seattle. Took a train and walked. We went to the Experience Music Project, and got to be a "Rockstar." Then we went to the Space Needle for lunch and had a great view of the city. We rode the monorail to the Seattle Art Museum. Lots of ancient art.

I never flown before, and so today was a great experience for me. After we arrived we drove to the house we are to stay at and dropped our gear off. Later we went to the Tacoma Art Museum and we saw Andy Warhol artwork and others as well. Been a great first day for the trip, can't wait for tomorrow!

So... I have never done a blog before, but since I want to do one for my trip to Seattle, I should explore a bit on what I can do.  And since I would be doing it from my phone... I also had to see how it would work from there. Figured that I can edit any post from my phone or a computer. Yeah... looking forward to the trip next week.
